Meet our project leaders
Richard Sparacio
In 1991 while in college Richard co-founded MaidPro, a residential and commercial cleaning service business. With much diligent work and many good choices, MaidPro became an international franchise brand with over 300 franchisees operating in United States and Canada. MaidPro was sold to private equity in 2020.

With the sale of MaidPro Richard turned his attention to assisting small business owners realize their business ownership and entrepreneurial dreams. To this end, he founded Acio to work with small and mid-size business owners desiring the security that comes with financial, operational, strategic and competitive strength.
Richard has substantial expertise in building the company culture and the professionalization that leads to creating stronger companies and brands. He brings with him all the lessons learned from his franchise experience to privately owned companies to help them grow and prosper.
Additionally, Richard is also now a professor at Suffolk University’s business school, his alma mater, teaching the next generation of business leaders learn the steps to become the successful entrepreneurs of tomorrow.
Mike Cohen
Mike has over 45 years of business experience. His breadth and depth of experience helps companies desiring an experienced “thought partner” to assist them sort through the challenges of business ownership. He is a solution-finder and problem-solver having managed complex projects in a variety of industries designed to improve operations, improve financial performance and increase strategic and competitive strength.
